My specialty

Between completing barber college and getting the shop on its feet, I’ve had a lot of time to think about what I would like to specialize in. Haircuts-wise that is. I’ve pretty much ruled out doing women’s hair, because they’re too particular and demanding. I don’t want to work with kids, either, because, well, kids suck.

So what I’ve decided to do is to specialize in buzz cuts. Yep, that’s right. My niche will be in hair lengths between 0″ and 1/2″, no more, no less. A lot goes into the buzz cut - much more than the average person thinks. There’s the proper shape, balance, and of course, making sure not to nick the client’s scalp. The last thing we need on our hands is a malpractice suit.

But I did get an A on buzz cuts at college, so I’m not anticipating any major problems. Nothing but the best buzz cuts the world has ever seen. Bitches.
