I prefer my church separated from my state, thanks. Liberals and conservatives alike should agree with me here because I grew up Catholic and we all know how well that institution is run.

The thing about our democratic republic is it is supposed to endeavor to represent us all. Maybe I’m just pissy because it looks like I am the minority in SD. Could be.

All I’m saying is as soon as the line between church and state become too blurred, it’s time for the checks and balances our federal government holds so dear.

Sorry, but nowadays Religion is not interested in checking itself.
