All apologies

Filed under: blog feuds — J-Ho at 6:11 pm on Friday, April 28, 2006

A few days ago, we shot what we thought was Stephanie T. Mishap’s dog, Maxwell Smart, in the face with an automatic weapon. Turns out we made a little mistake, and boy are our faces red! Nevertheless, since we’re men of integrity, we’re willing to admit our mistake and do whatever it takes to rectify the situation. You see, the dog we killed wasn’t Stephanie’s at all! It actually belonged to her kindly old neighbor, Irma Amberton. We’ve already sent her our apologies and condolences, and we’re paying for the funeral costs in their entirety. On top of that, we’ve given her these little fellas:

Not only is she getting seven dogs to replace the one we shot, but these puppies are also 100 times cuter than her old dog, which results in an increase of 700 cuteness points! Plus we’re letting her keep the little red wagon. That’s how Barber College operates. When we make a mistake, we don’t just admit it; we also pay for it 700 times over… and we throw in a free wagon.

————-

While we were in town delivering the adorable little puppies to Mrs. Amberton, we kidnapped what we’re 99% certain is Stephanie’s actual dog. So let’s do this all over again, Steph. You know the drill.

The dog gag redux is lame boys. In fact, it’s ultra-lame. And this has been pointed out to you before, by others. And it’s tasteless.

In fact, having conferred with Ms. Sophie on the specific topic of your original ’shooting her dog’ gag, we both concurred it’s lame to the meh degree.

Our hopes for you boys actually picked up the other day when we saw your fresh start with the sweat-shop gag.

But now we see your brash bravado was nothing more than a paper tiger. You bottle gobblers have caved and the true vacuum that is your intellectual wasteland is now laid bare for all to see.

So there you have it chumps. It’s pretty clear to all now that you’ve got nothing left to pump from the creative well. You’re left with recycling your own sorry concepts, with a predilection to the lame and the limp.

So why prolong your embarrassment any further? Why not just run right over to Ms. Sophie’s fine blog and let her know that you’re out of gas? After all, you won’t be the first victim of her quill. If that’s any comfort…

Hi Stephanie’s 187th Creepy Anonymous Internet Stalker! Thanks for visiting our site! But leave the feuding to the experts, please!

Steph: I don’t know why I’m giving you advice in the middle of a blog feud, but you should probably reign in your stupid stalkers. They’re really, really making you look silly. If I had to describe them using a mathematical equation, it would be

STALKERISHNESS = 2((creepiness) + (frequency_of_comments)^2) * (average length of comment) * (dorkiness) * (age_of_stalker) * (ugliness) * (apparency_of_real-life_danger_posed)) * ((1/dignity) + (1/self-respect))

I’ve also been thinking it’s time to launch a tactical warhead in response to all these anonymous posts.

I’ll just pick a random place somewhere in North America, just to send a message. I’m thinking… Canada. Yes, Canada. As for the province… Alberta will do nicely. We should probably pick a population center though… somewhere like Edmonton. I don’t really want to blow up the airport per se, but if we moved a little ways south, we could probably find a nice spot… say, the corner of 107th Ave & 105th St? It’s pretty close to the hospital though. We should be careful.

So, how close did I get? My Canadian spies aren’t always the most reliable.
