Let me say a few words about Dog Chapman. I love him. I love his show and I wish it was irony, but it’s not. I love the Dog like an 8 year old kid loves any superhero and this makes me sad. With no sense of irony, i wonder if he should get a free pass for breaking international law cause he was bringing a rapist to justice. That’s kinda cool.

Oh my no. Actually it is.

I’m sure he’s a great guy, and I’m glad he was hunting down a rapist, but that does not make his predicament (bounty hunter hunted for bounty) any less ironic.

You don’t want to fight this battle, my friend. You will lose. Plus Ho totally has my back on this one.

Well actually it was bail bondsman out on bail taken into custody by American police for a pending charge in Mexico. From what I understand, there was techinically no bounty on the bounty hunter.

Aubs, I did not mean to say there was no irony to the circumstances. Clearily there is, but I think it is some what lessen by the fact the bounty hunter’s crime is detaining a trustfund millionaire rapist, who currently serving 124 years in prison for drugging women and raping them while they were asleep.

I also am fairly sure that the Dog is guilty, although Dog, Leland and Tim are most likely being brought up on “kidnapping” charges. They just made the rapist wait until the Mexcian cops arrested him (and pepper sprayed him I understand), which again I’m sure isn’t legal.

If I was pushed I would also say that a bounty hunter bending or breaking the law to capture somebody is less than ironic because I think it is understood these guys are vigilantes who don’t go by the book. See Clint Eastwood, Batman, the warthog from “Raising Arizona.” Outlaw justice is by definition illegal.

Also I’m pretty sure my nerdy devotion to the Dog is NOT above scorn.
