Not the batteries, those could be easily replaced but the actual covers that went over the batteries. Back in those lofty days still full of the grand ideal that we could change the future we hatched a plan to ransom them back to their rightful owners for cash money. but we were kinda lazy... and it was a tuesday night Back in my younger and more impressionable days, some friends and I used to steal the backs off of remote controls.
