H, you are making me cry. Even if our poor exploded-cell-phone victim was rocking out to T. Dolby, there would be nothing ironic about it. Nothing at all.

In fact, the only song I can think of that would qualify as an ironic ringtone under these circumstances is the 1992 indie-grunge cult hit, “Cell Phones Never Explode.”

I’m glad you’re here, H, but words mean things. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go firebomb Alanis Morrissette’s house.
